Saint Vrain Barbershop was created by Melanie and Justin with the simple goal of bringing quality haircuts to their own community. After years of running Good Barbers in Boulder, they realized they wanted to root their next chapter in Longmont, where they live.
Both originally from northwest Indiana, just outside of Chicago, Melanie and Justin began their barbering careers In Chicago before moving west to the front range. After years behind the chair, their focus remains the same — giving every client a great cut and making them feel at home.
The vision for Saint Vrain came to life when they watched their building being constructed in downtown Longmont. After months of driving by, they knew without a doubt that their shop was meant to be there.
Saint Vrain is more than a barbershop — it’s a space designed with care and intention. From vintage barber chairs brought in from Chicago to Melanie’s stained glass pieces and Justin’s hand-painted signage, every detail reflects their love for barbering and the community. Filled with plants, warmth, and a cozy mid-century modern aesthetic, the shop is a living terrarium for everyone to feel at home.
At Saint Vrain, the haircut is only part of the experience — the rest is about feeling good, connected, and part of something local.

With over 15 years of experience behind the chair, Every haircut with Melanie is shaped by her skill and her passion for making people look and feel their best. After moving to Colorado from Chicago, she and her husband Justin opened Good Barbers in Boulder, which they proudly ran for six years.
Now rooted in Longmont—where they call home—they’ve made the exciting decision to bring their craft closer to the community they love.
Melanie specializes in classic, timeless cuts with a lived-in feel. Her favorite styles are those that not only look great on day one but continue to wear well and are easy to maintain. For her, it’s all about effortless style and lasting quality.

Owner/BarberWith more than 15 years behind the chair, Justin began his barbering career in Chicago before bringing his passion to Colorado. He opened Good Barbers in Boulder, where he built a loyal following over six years. Wanting to be more connected to his own community, he eventually opened Saint Vrain Barbershop with his wife Melanie in Longmont just two miles from their home.
Justin has a love for classic styles—clean side parts, sharp tapers, pompadours and timeless cuts that never go out of style. His goal is to create not just great haircuts, but an experience where every client feels welcome, comfortable, and confident with their look.
